Ron started on radio in the early eighties with the London pirate Radio Sovereign, which was Britain's first oldies station, then on to Radio Jackie for a year.

He was the first voice on the breakfast show for County Sound Gold in 1988, and enjoyed 4 happy years waking up Surrey and Hampshire. Over 35 years later, and Ron is still working on the radio, previous stations included Radio Mercury, Star FM, Time FM, The Eagle, Easy Radio, The Superstation, Reading's Classic Gold, and Solid Gold Gem AM.

Ron can be heard every weekend on ATLANTIS between 08:00 and Noon.
